Safety at UAB is everyone's responsibility, not just OH&S. We depend on you to help us identify opportunities to improve the UAB work environment.

Help us keep UAB a safe and healthy place to work by reporting all safety hazards and incidents that happen that might otherwise go unreported.

Call 205-934-2487 or email safety@uab.edu to report a safety hazard or incident. Please give us your name, phone number, department, and the details of the hazard or incident.

Need to remain anonymous when reporting?

All information will be kept confidential. We may ask that you identify yourself in case we have follow-up questions. We'd also like to notify you when the problem has been addressed. However, if you are uncomfortable doing so, you can remain anonymous. Call 205-934-2487, but tell the person who answers the phone that you'd like to remain anonymous for personal reasons.

If you would rather send an e-mail to safety@uab.edu, put the word CONFIDENTIAL in the subject line. This e-mail address goes to one person who can assure your anonymity.
